My Copper Vanilla Clone!
I ordered this from Angel Cigs, first time I have ever ordered from them. I had to ping them after 2 weeks that I placed the order to see if there were any issues with it as it remained in a "processing" status whenever I checked. After reaching out to them, they got back to me with a response within 24 hrs, which was awesome, and sure enough 3 days later it was at my door.
I am in love with this mod... this is also my first copper mod. Let's break this down into some pros and cons shall we?
Cons:
My current set up, as in the picture, is with a copper Tobh clone and an Envision drip tip.

Cons:
- Locking ring does get a little stuck sometimes
- Button seems a little crunchy but after making some adjustments, it seems to be better.
- Looks fantastic
- Hits very hard as a copper mod should

The Pegasus arrived today...
Everything here was purchased from FastTech:
Drip Tip: Here
RDA: Here
Pegasus: Here
Pretty happy so far, took a bit to adjust the top cap so the Dripper was flush to the top of the mod. I wish there was more venting in the tube somewhere. The dripper definitely heats up quickly with a .6/.7 build for some reason, this is a setup you can not necessarily "chain vape" with, leaving time for it to cool down before vaping again. Maybe it's just me and the way I inhale?
Another down side is after adjusting the top and bottom pins for battery rattle, I am unable to use a 2cent fuse with the battery. It just wouldn't fit no matter what I did. I would have to leave the top AND button ring left unscrewed with threads showing if I were to try to fit it into the tube.
RDA also needs to have additional holes drilled. It currently has a small and larger hole on the inner cap and only 1 hole on the outer cap that you choose which hole from the inner cap to line it up to.

Coming Down the Pipe
Curved Glass Drip Tips?
I get these spam emails from random Chinese manufacturers about new products. This one is supposedly going to be supplying FastTech in the near future. They have a new variety of drip tips that I have never seen before:
So be on the lookout! I'll be sure to post any links once I see someone carrying them ;)

FDA To Begin Regulating E-Cigs. Good or Bad?
Consistent with currently regulated tobacco products, under the proposed rule, makers of newly deemed tobacco products would, among other requirements:
This means every existing and new e-cig device and e-liquid will need to undergo a very expensive FDA application seeking it's approval before sale. (atomizers, mods, ecig-a-likes, new flavors of eliquid, etc) This will be EXTREMELY harmful to the small mom & pop stores that have finally made a nitch for themselves for selling devices and selling their homemade e-liquids. Thousands of dollars just to release a new flavor? No thanks... it's hard to believe that selling eLiquids alone is very profitable. But maybe a lot of e-cig vendors are not just looking to turn some huge profits, but better yet, just help with getting the message out that e-cigarettes are a much safer alternative to smoking combustible tobacco, cigarettes.
Unfortunately this also means no more free samples at meets or vape shops, which is completely ridiculous.
Does this mean they wont have those wine tables in liquor stores anymore with ladies handing out free wine samples, hope so, they're annoying!
We have about 2 years until this officially kicks in, there's still time to do something about this. I'm a firm believer that e-cigs and e-liquids should be banned from being sold to minors. I'm also okay with the warning labels, fine...but thousands of dollars just to approve a new device and eLiquid flavor? There has GOT to be another way. I like the idea that these restrictions will weed out the eLiquid makers that churn eLiquid from their bathtubs but reputable companies such as Mt. Baker Vapor, Vaping Watch, that seem to be turning out new flavors every week will be affected. We can find another way of handling this, we can!
What can YOU do about all of this? Your voice can be heard!
There are organizations out there that can be contacted to find out how, organizations that have been fighting all along for our right to vape.
- Register with the FDA and report product and ingredient listings;
- Only market new tobacco products after FDA review;
- Only make direct and implied claims of reduced risk if the FDA confirms that scientific evidence supports the claim and that marketing the product will benefit public health as a whole; and
- Not distribute free samples.

First micro coil/Cotton build
I absolutely LOVE to drip. I received a Nimbus clone today in my vape mail and cant wait to build it. I did some experimenting with my IGO-L and did my first micro coil build with organic cotton. It ended up being 2.5ohms. Not what I was aiming for, but was too eager to try it out that I continued on with it.
I must say, between cotton and xc-116, I will reserve my silica wicks for my mini rda's and 'squid' builds when the mood strikes me.
If you are unfamiliar with this build, here's a video that I recommend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTsS-Zw9dC8

Christmas Gifts for the Vapers in Our Lives
So I stumbled upon some really cute vaping related items that would make great Christmas gifts for the vaping hobbyist other than actual vaping devices and accessories. More like vaping themed gifts which I thought were cute!

Fabulous Moon Mountain Vapor
Received my sampler a few weeks back and in my package I received my juices wrapped neatly in a Moon Mountain Vapor backpack. To my surprise, they also included a Moon Mountain Vapor cup, shotglass, and stickers. What more could a fan of MMV ask for other than more juice! :)
Love these guys, fantastic service and pleasant folks to do business with!
